Fancy swimming in the clear blue seas around Cornwall? Sign up for one of the Mad Hatter events this summer and enjoy some of the clearest – and friendliest – open water swim events on offer.
The Mad Hatters Velotive Series kicks off on Saturday 23rd at Porthpean Beach in Cornwall with the first swim event of the 2015 season.
By all accounts it’s not just the locals that are friendly on this 3.2km swim – there is a local seal who sometimes likes to say “hello”.
Entries are available here
The Mad Hatters Velotive Series sees swimmers score points in each swim and the male and female with the highest points at the end of the season will win the Open category.
Each age group will also have a male and female winner (those with the most points across the series). Word on the beach is there will be prizes!!!
Next up for the Mad Hatters Velotive Series is Carlyon Bay (18th June), Gorran Haven (1st August), Caerhays (29th August) and finally Pentewan Sands (27th September). Full details on each event can be foundHERE. All races are £20 if you enter before the event or £25 on the day.
